Annie & Jordan - A Vintage Wedding
The Bride and Groom are regular visitors to the town of Agnes Water / Seventeen Seventy and are in love with the natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere. Armed with a scrapbook of inspiration that she had been collecting for a long long time, Annie came to us with a fiancé and family who were prepared to build and move whatever it took for her dream wedding to come to fruitition AND an amazing 1973 Volkswagen Kombi, which Jordan had given her for her 21st Birthday. Painted by the Bride's Uncle Stuart and decked out by her Uncle Lindsay (LMC Motorhomes), the Kombi was complete in time for their I Do's.
The theme of their special day was to be vintage. Vintage books, cameras, radios, globes, records, chairs, crockery and the list goes on. The pieces came from all over Australia, with some being a part of the Bride's personal collection, some from grandparents, aunts and uncles and others from local suppliers and Pretty My Love's collection. Each piece had a story behind it and many were held very close to the heart.
As a special inclusion to their day, we styled a Bridal shoot for the Bride and her Maids with some of the classic images reminiscent of the 50s in mind, featuring vintage magazines, perfume bottles and a collection of wedding dresses and shoes from the Bride's nearest and dearest, including her late Grandmother and Mother.
The Ceremony was held at a secluded beach at the base of a headland in 1770. Transported by bus, guests were taken to the Reception location, a marquee at Agnes Water's Golf Club where they enjoyed pre-dinner drinks and games amongst beautiful tall gumtrees with the sun setting behind them. As dusk neared, guests located their name and table number amongst a maze of old, candle lit window frames leading them to their allocated seat, where they found a chalk board placemat, handmade by the Groom, branded with their initials on the back and the guests name in chalk on the front, a keepsake for their guests to take home.
So many personal touches to make the day all the Bride and Groom had ever dreamt of. All the hard work paid off... Scroll down for endless amounts of divine details x
